Claris by Megan Hess Launch

Acclaimed fashion illustrator and author Megan Hess, was sketching a beautiful Paris skyscape, when a little mouse scurried across a building. Rather than shrieking, instead she thought: ‘How wonderfully chic would it be to live in Paris, even if you were only a tiny little mouse!’

That’s how Claris the Mouse was born. Claris is the Chicest Mouse in Paris and the latest literary star of Megan Hess’s children’s books. This beautiful rhyming story is about courage and compassion (and looking stylish) in the face of it all.

The effortlessly cool Co.Co in Port Melbourne was an obvious choice for the Claris book launch. As a Port Melbourne local, it’s Megan’s favourite homewares boutique and fittingly, it was filled with local fans who wanted to celebrate.

Claris wouldn’t be the Chicest Mouse if there weren't cushions, scarves and prints to launch too. Megan not only signed books but took the time to chat to everyone who came along. ☆
