H+M Opening Melbourne GPO

Affordable Swedish fashion is one thing style-conscious Melbournians were really missing. Imagine our delight that H&M have opened a three-level 5000m² store in the iconic GPO building at the heart of the CBD.

On Thursday night 1000 VIP guests headed to Australia’s first ever H&M to welcome it in true Melbourne fashion. It was a thrill to browse through over one million items of clothing and homewares.

The DJ decks got as much of a workout as we did while eagerly exploring the giant store. Aussie DJ Anna Lunoe blasted some feel-good tunes to get everyone going before LA's HAIM took to the speakers.

If you’d like to stay on top of the latest trends without crying into your bank balance, H&M should be your first port of call. Their flagship store doors are now open and with plans to open stores across Australia, it’s safe to say this isn’t the last you’ll be hearing of them. ☆
