It’s always a privilege to see the world from someone else’s perspective and experiencing New York through the elegant eyes of a fashion illustrator is an amazing adventure. Yesterday evening, Megan Hess’s latest book, New York: Through a Fashion Eye, celebrated the exquisite launch it deserved.

Australia’s own Megan Hess has illustrated for some of the world’s finest fashion houses – Chanel, Dior, Yve Saint Laurent and Prada to name a few. Now she pens a personal and beautiful guide to one of her favourite cities. It’s got every detail any fashionista needs. Where to eat, sleep and play. It’s a must-have for any fashion aficionado who’s set to visit the Big Apple (or indulge in some escapism).

Megan’s book launch was hosted by the boutique bayside homewares destination Co.Co. The festive celebration was off with a bang, a fan-filled store, champagne flowing and plenty of delicious macarons. Feeling fashionable and inspired, it was the perfect time to get some Christmas shopping done too and signed copies of New York: Through a Fashion Eye, made perfect gifts! ☆
