Timothy Oulton famously believes that you only have one life, so it had better be awesome. No small wonder then that we came together to celebrate the opening of his new season collection at his Melbourne concept store at Coco Republic in Richmond.

The iconic furniture and homewares brand is steeped in British heritage. Timothy’s dad had a devoted love of antiques, so each piece is handcrafted with traditional techniques for an authentic feel. The event reflected this, with a ‘Best of British’ theme, complete with Timothy Oulton himself in attendance. Timothy took us on a trip down memory lane sharing stories of his family’s history in furniture antiques and where his love for traditional inspired designs was sparked.

Interior designers, stylists, property developers and Melbourne VIPs were treated to an evening of Veuve Cliquot champagne and whiskey cocktails at to truly celebrate in style. They were chased by a three-metre-long cheese table and an indulgent candy bar. Gold embossed leather Timothy Oulton luggage tags were personalised with our initials and gifted to guests.
